All-optical manipulation of photonic membranes

چکیده
Here we demonstrate the all-optical manipulation of polymeric membranes in microfluidic environments. The are decorated with handles for their use holographic optical tweezers setups. Our results show that due to form factor present an 8-fold increase mechanical stability, respect micrometric dielectric particles. This intrinsic superior stability is expected improve profoundly a wide range bio-photonic applications rely on objects while studying single-molecule mechanics and sub-cellular scale transport processes.
